Rob and Joe Hammered Them

Rob brought his father-in-law and friends out for the non-stop Striper and Scup action. Thats what its been everyday since May 1, Non-Stop.
Limited out on Stripers to 25 lbs and bucketed up 2-3 lb Scup with many double headers for our limit on them. Then caught and released another 50, no fish story here.  Was a great trip.

Rob and his big one

Diane and friends got tuned up fast, got real serious about the fishing at hand and hammered the Stripers.  It wasn’t easy with heavy boat traffic and a few bad drivers. They fished great and the pictures tell the story. Nice fishing by all. Hope to see you out here soon for more.

25 Lber released

The chef and the oyster master brought out a Striper hungry crew and we put a beating on them. Had our limit in an hour and threw back another 2 limits.

Lisa and the Big One

Larry and his usual great crew hammered the Stripers in tough conditions ans then slayed the Giant (bigger than jumbo) Porgies. Take a look at the photos, no lies.

Gus's Gone Wild on Striped Bass

My Favorite Gus,aka Mr.Gus, brought out our new friend Gus and right off he told me his father was a fisherman. Well, it was easy to see he his father taught him well because he caught 3 keeper Stripers in the first 15 minutes.

Then the 2 Gus’s filled the buckets with 2-3 lb Porgies, a couple nice keeper Fluke and had 2 giant Sea Bass.

Buckets and Buckets of Porgies

Mike, George and Kenny we met for the first time, felt like I knew them for years. They fished great in pouring rain, high winds and we laughed the whole day. Makes this business all the fun, thanks guys.

Secondly: we(they)averaged 3 keeper Fluke each, Jumbo Scup(can catch all you want), Cocktail Blues, and what Kenny poetically called a monster heartbreak skate, looked legit but we have all been there. Still felt good.

Stripers flew over the rail 2 or 3 at a time just like they should and usually do. I know the boys loved it as did I.

In the Net. Check out the photo, not a masterpiece, but unique and fun. Fishing was so furious and great that Joe the mate had to net 2 and 3 at a time in the same net. The group had over 30 Stripers. Lock and load Stripers every trip lately. Get in on it soon while it lasts.

Picture is of 9 year old Ryan and his dad as they caught 2 at the same time. Grandpa wanted to take Ryan fluking so he could catch a fish on his own, but the mate taught him how to Bass fish and by himself he caught 5 big keeper Stripers.

Thanks Larry, Ryan is lucky to have a Grandpa like you still around to take him fishing and give him so much confidence. We are not all so blessed. Great family.
